NoShampoo video being shown in Aurau Switz.

One of my early videos, the noShampoo ad, is being shown in the Roschtigen Hund in Aurau Switzerland.

The short films are rich, experimental and innovative.

The diversity of the work is impressive. Animated drawings, powerful audio-visual effusions, poetic-critical histories, sensual messages and gadgets distributed in 27 works show the latest work of art and film-makers from the region and beyond.

Nadine Black poses as found movements, Roger Ensign keeps us in front of the mirror, Trudy Andres shows us as news of a special kind, Susanna Brändli blows everything in the air, Christina Speer captures the spirit of Nietzsche, Jeanine Osborne asks for the time, Sara Stäuble portrays a fantastic figure, Daniel Kanaan advertises with irony, Daniel Jeseneg flies to the moon, and Bruno Schlatter travels through Vienna.

In addition to the performance in the foyer works by Beate Gördes, Frank Lauber, Nadine Black and Ingrid Wyss are shown.

I’ll be showing many self portraits and portraits of artists at the next show at Marseille Project Gallery, among them this life size self portrait from 2000.

CLEARANCE – Artist’s Statement

Three of my prints will be on show at Kensington and Chelsea College starting the 20th of June for 10 days. The most interesting print is an explosive print which uses a technique that I created to re-etch shallow grooves and increase contrast.

What better way to welcome in the new site of my work than to announce that one of my etchings, lawn chairs was accepted and is currently displaying at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. It is #243 in the show, under the name ‘Kay’.
